The said list includes an unnamed Cabinet member who was very close to PNoy.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, then-Justice Secretary Leila de Lima was able to secure the “classified documents’ (including the drug list) inside Jesse’s condo unit, with the approval of Leni, who is now the Vice President and the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) chairperson. It remains unknown if the said list was submitted to Noynoy Aquino.</p>

One of our problems is we have too many talkers, not enough thinkers, especially in the Senate which the Opposition uses as a convenient platform to block the president’s program of reform, notably his war on illegal drugs by conducting inquiries supposedly in aid of legislation.
The LP, as I wrote in postings before the May elections were held, realized it could not win the presidency.
<br /><br />
So it shifted its strategy to winning the vice-presidency and a majority of the Senate. It needed to win the vice-presidency by hook or by crook to replace Duterte, That was the marching order of outgoing President Aquino.
<br /><br />
I also laid out the LP strategy after the elections, as I saw it, to bring the president down and replace him with Leni Robredo. The central piece of this strategy is to erode Duterte’s popularity by crippling his program.

<b>How?</b>

Firstly, by obstructing his war on illegal drugs.
<br /><br />
The Senate provided a convenient platform with Leila de Lima leading the charge, backstopped by other LP senators like Frank Drilon and Antonio Trillanes. The idea was to gain publicity mileage aimed primarily at the international press.
<br /><br />
The opening shot was provided by CNN when its reporter asked the president in his interview when the extrajudicial killings would stop.
<br /><br />
It was followed up by human rights activists like Cookie Diokno accusing Duterte of waging a war against the poor in her interview on Australia’S 60 Minutes.
<br /><br />
Then came the rally in New York picturing Duterte as a mass murderer.
<br /><br />
The UN and the US State Department spokesman warned Duterte of human rights violations.
<br /><br />
All this is a concerted and coordinated campaign to scare foreign investors. No foreign investments will cripple the president’s socio-economic program.

Note the subtlety by which the LP is going about it. Trillanes told PNP chief Bato that Duterte won’t always be around to protect them, implying that the president won’t last long.

In effect his message to the police was, Stop supporting the president.
<br /><br />
During her US tour, Leni Robredo said her role as VP was to wait for something to happen to the president.
<br /><br />
Some wondered whether she had a death wish. I think she was just being candid about what could happen in the future.
<br /><br />
It did not help that we have a Senate president who is an idiot giving Leila de Lima the chairmanship of the judicial and human rights committee.

This is like giving her a loaded gun. He had played right into the LP hands.

The friction between <b>Rodrigo Duterte's party</b>, <b>PDP</b>-<b>Laban</b>, and the <b>Liberal party </b>can be traced back way before the elections. <b>Leni Robredo's </b>victory over <b>Ferdinand </b>"<b>Bongbong</b>" <b>Marcos Jr</b>. sparked this friction anew for both of parties.<br />

However, the plot thickens as <b>Presidential Assistant </b>for <b>Economic Affairs Jose Alejandro </b>spills the beans of “<b>the plot</b>" which detailed how the LP plans to destroy and bring down the President.<br />
<br />
This was earlier theorized by Former Senator Bongbong Marcos wherein he said that Robredo's win is the first step of their plan in overthrowing Digong.<br />
<br />
Alejandro left everyone with the question: "The question is, Do Dutertistas wait until it happens or do we pre-empt it now?"<br />

"<b>THE PLOT </b><br />

One of our problems is we have too many talkers, not enough thinkers, especially in the Senate which the Opposition uses as a convenient platform to block the president’s program of reform, notably his war on illegal drugs by conducting inquiries supposedly in aid of legislation.<br />
<br />
The LP, as I wrote in postings before the May elections were held, realized it could not win the presidency. So it shifted its strategy to winning the vice-presidency and a majority of the Senate. It needed to win the vice-presidency by hook or by crook to replace Duterte That was the marching order of outgoing President Aquino.<br />
<br />
I also laid out the LP strategy after the elections, as I saw it, to bring the president down and replace him with Leni Robredo. The central piece of this strategy is to erode Duterte’s popularity by crippling his program.<br />
<br />
How? Firstly, by obstructing his war on illegal drugs. The Senate provided a convenient platform with Leila de Lima leading the charge, backstopped by other LP senators like <b>Frank Drilon </b>and <b>Antonio Trillanes</b>. The idea was to gain publicity mileage aimed primarily at the international press. The opening shot was provided by CNN when its reporter asked the president in his interview when the extrajudicial killings would stop. It was followed up by human rights activists like <b>Cookie Diokno </b>accusing Duterte of waging a war against the poor in her interview on Australia’s 60 Minutes. Then came the rally in <b>New York</b> picturing Duterte as a mass murderer. The UN and the US State Department spokesman warned Duterte of human rights violations.<br />

<br />
All this is a concerted and coordinated campaign to scare foreign investors. No foreign investments will cripple the president’s socio-economic program.<br />
<br />
Note the subtlety by which the LP is going about it. Trillanes told <b>PNP chief Bato </b>that Duterte won’t always be around to protect them, implying that the president won’t last long. In effect his message to the police was, Stop supporting the president.<br />
<br />
During her US tour, Leni Robredo said her role as VP was to wait for something to happen to the president. Some wondered whether she had a death wish. I think she was just being candid about what could happen in the future.<br />
<br />
It did not help that we have a Senate president who is an idiot giving Leila de Lima the chairmanship of the judicial and human rights committee. This is like giving her a loaded gun. He had played right into the LP hands. Nor did it help he did nothing to stop a useless Senate inquiry. One begins to wonder on whose side he is on.<br />
<br />
The events we now see unfolding, as I had written and predicted before, point to a plot to unseat the president.<br />
<br />
The question is, do we Dutertistas wait until it happens or do we pre-empt it now?"<br />

<b>President Rodrigo Duterte's </b>threat of separating from the <b>United Nations </b>has set the nation ablaze, as many reacted that it is bold and tactless statement coming from the President himself. However, senators quickly defended the President.<br />

"I don’t take it seriously. We are one of [the <b>United Nation's</b>] founding members," says Senate <b>Minority Leader Ralph Recto</b>.<br />
<br />
Senator <b>Sherwin Gatchalian </b>also responded on the issue, speaking positively of the President's statement.<br />

<br />
"He is a very intelligent man. Leaving the <b>UN </b>will throw our nation back to the <b>Stone Age</b>. He knows very well that being an isolationist country is not in the best interest of the Filipino people," Gatchalian said praising the President.<br />
<br />
"I haven’t seen the actual press conference, but knowing the president, this is probably one of his off-the-cuff remarks to state his point," he added.<br />
<br />
<b>Senator Richard Gordon </b>on the other hand said the words were misinterpreted and on his point of view it meant, "Hey, I’m doing my work here. I need your help. I don’t need your criticism."<br />

Gordon also agreed with the others when he said that the organization should instead focus on helping out in ridding the nations of drugs and to rebuke the governments of countries where the illegal substance comes from.<br />

The President' former running mate Alan Peter Cayetano also came to the President's defense saying Duterte have always spoke that way.<br />
<br />
"I’ve always explained the way the President communicates. He always uses argumentum ad absurdum, where you bring the argument to the absurd," he explained.<br />
<br />
"I cannot speak for him, but my interpretation of what he said, that we should just leave [the UN], means that if you (<b>UN officials</b>) cannot be fair, the UN officials and you cannot see what we’re doing to keep the people peaceful and give them security, what is the organizations for?" <b>Cayetano added.</b></div>

This compelled a senate hearing regarding the alleged extrajudicial killings which greatly hurt the credibility of the <b>new administration</b>.<br />

Despite overwhelming support of the <b>masses </b>and <b>Duterte </b>himself defending the anti-drug campaign, it still caught the attention of the international media. Following the recent issue of Duterte with the <b>United Nations</b>, an <b>Australian News Media </b>also reported about the killings in the <b>Philippines</b>.<br />

A known news program called <b>60 Minutes Australia </b>apparently made a mini-documentary regarding what's happening in the Philippines which was a little lop-sided. The host, Liam Bartlett called the <b>16th President </b>of the <b>Philippines</b>, "<b>dirty</b> h<b>a</b>rry" and compared him to <b>Donald Trump</b>. <b>Videos </b>of <b>murder </b>spots were also included.<br />

Although the country's senate have been concerned with what's happening, it seems a little bit unfair to document one side of the story without even having to know the whole setup of the story. </div>

Despite the many controversies that the <b>President Rodrigo Duterte </b>is facing right now, one thing is undeniable with: he remains the humble mayor we have known him to be. Following the recent allegations of extrajudicial killings against his war on drugs, he continues to defend that the policemen are just doing their job, and that they too, are risking their lives in every operation they engage in.<br />

For one, another cop identified as <b>PCI Mark Gil Garcia </b>died in a buy-bust operation recently. The President sent the family flowers for condolences. But that is not all. A certain <b>Kaiser Dabalos </b>posted pictures of the flower and lauded the president for not putting the title "<b>President</b>" before his name. It simply bears "<b>Rodrigo Roa Duterte</b>." The photos went extremely viral as netizens expressed admiration over how Duterte stayed humble amid assuming the highest position in the country.<br />

It can be recalled earlier that Duterte asked the cabinet secretaries to stop using "<b>His Excellency</b>" in addressing him. According to him, as he stated in many interviews, he prefers to be called "Mayor" as he is still not used to the title "<b>President</b>" and he felt overwhelmed by it. </div>
