It seems like everybody's all out on siding and getting involved in the issue between President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Leila De Lima. Everyone has their own opinions with the issue and the animosity among the two seems to rub off upon supporters as even the Archdiocese of Manila expresses his concern and gets criticized by netizens and Erwin Tulfo afterwards.
"Dapat siyang magpakatatag, dahil hindi madali ang ginagawa niya. Huwag patitinag [dahil] ang ipinaglalaban niya ay para sa bayan," Fr. Atillano Fajardo said pertaining to the senator currently on the receiving end of bashes and criticisms.
The comment of Fr. Fajardo siding De Lima have gained him critics lambasting him for intervening upon the issue.
Erwin Tulfo voiced out his opinion in regards the intervention of Fr. Fajardo emphasizing that De Lima commited adultery.
"Father don't get me wrong. Si Father kampi sa imoral na gawain, di ba sa sampung utos meron bawal maki apid? Nakikiapid po siya sa may asawa, mas mainam mag-misa ka nalang kaysa sa makisawsaw ka sa issue kasi hindi po bagay," Tulfo told the archbishop.
