After the long tirade of President Duterte against Senator Leila De Lima exposing her involvement with drugs through her driver and alleged driver Ronnie Dayan, De Lima is persistent to end the issue and belie the President's allegations, both on the issue of her connection with druglords from the New Bilibid Prison and her alleged illicit affair.
The Senator have finally reacted in regards to the controversial issue between her and her driver Dayan.
She clearly denied Duterte's allegations against her in regards the drug money a few days ago and confidently declared that she is willing to resign and be shot if proven guilty although she previously gave a hint in regards Dayan saying there might be a bit truth to the accusations.
She awkwardly told reporters on a press conference on Saturday that she have grew fond of the driver and became too close.
She admitted having a "special connection" with Dayan during the days he worked for her, which was before she started serving the public.
