The issue between President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Leila De Lima still have not died down despite the word war being over, or we assume it is.
Reports from Politico claims that President Rodrigo Duterte admitted listening to recordings of wire-tapped conversation between Senator Leila De Lima and her driver and alleged lover, Ronnie Palisoc Dayan during press conference.
Although the President declined giving further statements on what he heard over the line between the senator and her driver he commented saying:
"I only listened to it once, and what I mostly heard was lover’s talk. You will not be interested to hear it because chismosa ka talaga pagkaganoon."
The wiretapped conversation of the senator was provided by an extrinsic government and ally of the country that is in one with the President's agenda of completely annihilating drugs and crime in the country.
Based on Politico's reports, the President has in hand evidences that would point out De Lima's connection with the drug lords in the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa during her time as the Secretary of the Department of Justice during the Aquino administration.
